Federica’s first triathlon race was an Ironman 70.3, as a bet whether she could finish it or not. The following year she qualified for the 70.3 worlds and finished 6th in her age group. She also completed her first Ironman at 22 and qualified for the world championship. In 2016 she finished 2nd in her age group and in 2017 she won it, so she decided to take the further step and compete among the professionals the following year.
Her first year as a pro saw as a highlight a podium in Ironman Malaysia and she’s currently working hard to improve and make her way into the professional world.
