Flora 6th in Zofingen
In what has been a breakthrough year of racing for Flora, she toed the start line for one final race of the season, the all enduring Powerman Zofingen Duathlon World Championships. In the Elite race for the first time, it was a great day for Flora gutting out the last 30k run to finish in 6th place overall. Congratulations Flora on a magnificent year.

Gold mine in Gérardmer
A long time favourite of the Coach, four of our team headed for the tried and true racing at the 30th anniversary of Triathlon de Gérardmer in France.
Cranking out a monster bike performance whilst diligently sticking to her pre-race plan saw Camilla rewarded with a great win at the Long Course Distance. Jeanne lined up for her first long course race since the arrival of baby Louise 5 months ago, and surprised herself (but not the coaches!) with an ever so strong finish and 3rd place podium.

Racing the Olympic Distance, Nina overcame an early hiccup on the bike to soon hit her stride, running away to a hard fought win.
Unfortunately the race didn’t go so well for Baptiste, a victim of the early swim carnage resulting in an early finish.

ITU action in the Czech Republic
Our ITU racers were greeted with cold wet conditions at the ITU World Cup in Karlovy Vary.
Emerging from the water further back than she would have liked, Julie's bike skills came to the fore as she quickly closed the gap to the chase group and diligently navigated the wet and slippery roads.  A good run saw Julie finish in 5th position; eager for more...

The cold was not to Barbs liking, contributing to a tough day.  Fighting hard on the bike to stay in touch Barb crossed the finish in 9th place and is all ready looking to make amends on the Gold Coast in 2 weeks time.

Reinaldo rounded out his European camp and race period with his second ITU race in 2 years. It was solid, and earned points towards Tokyo 2020 selection, however 'The Lion' knows there is work to be done.

Gaspar was backing up from the Lausanne European Championships two weeks earlier. Sitting in the second bike pack he was unfortunate to drop his chain before one of the main climbs. Unable to get back onto the group, he still ran respectably for a 32nd place finish. Gaspar is a recent addition to the Home Of Triathlon team, and time will tell if he can achieve his goals.

World 70.3 Championships South Africa
Much has been written about Daniela's incredible 4th World 70.3 Championship Title this past weekend (Fast and Furious at Nelson Mandela Bay). James, Sarah and Mariana also toed the start line in Port Elizabeth.
Determined to overcome some recent health concerns, James persevered at his home World Champs finishing in 19th place; a hard hitout as part of his Kona preparation.

A late decision to race in South Africa, Sarah headed over to experience first hand the racing dynamic that comes with the full depth field making up a World Championship. 12th place for Sarah as she continues to build her fitness and confidence.

Mariana kicked a goal with a fantastic all round effort at the World Championships, making it the special occasion that it is!

Top 10 for John at the Asia Games
A much anticipated highlight of the 2018 calendar for Rambo has been the Asia Games held this year in Palembang, Indonesia. While he did not make the front swim pack, John used his trademark run speed to work his way through the field to finish in an encouraging 10th position.

The Roman wins Locarno
A last minute decision to head to Locarno served Federica well, taking the lead early in the bike finishing the day in first position; a  great training race under her belt.
