Ironman Australia - Port Macquarie
Wonderful to see Caroline returning to her home town race at Ironman Australia in Port Macquarie. Second out of the water, Caroline rode solo and quickly established a commanding lead. However this was whittled down in the second half of the bike, with the lead relinquished in the final segment. Caroline made up ground early in the run however a lack of calories soon caught up with her. She dug very deep for a gutsy second place finish, and a reminder of the little details come Kona in October.

ITU World Cup Madrid - Spain
Fronting up for her first triathlon of the season, Julie worked hard to make up ground on the bike after a rough and tumble swim. Finishing 15th was a reminder for her, of the ferociousness of ITU racing, leaving her champing at the bit for the next race!

Camilla headed to Pontevedra for the ITU Long Course World Championships, keen to have another crack at the World Title, one that she had previously won in 2014. A valiant attempt.

Challenge Riccione - Italy
A road trip for the Derron Sisters, down to the Italian seaside for Challenge Riccione. Michelle and Nina were amongst the early leaders out of the swim. Both had solid rides over the hilly bike course, made even more challenging with a severe weather front moving in late on the ride. Running in the freezing rain, Nina finished a gallant 4th place with Michelle storming home with her best ever run over the distance, finishing in 7th.
