Athletes excel in Shanghai

70.3 Shanghai
Backing up after last weeks ITU Long Course race in Wenzhou, Caroline, Matt and Andrea travelled onwards to Shanghai to take on the 70.3 on Chongming Island.

Here again the men’s race came down to a sprint finish, this time The Captain had to settle for second place. Candy again with the leaders early in the run, however ITU is not long course, and this time he just ran out of gas to finish in 7th place.

Meanwhile, while everybody post Kona is scratching their heads about who can throw down a bike split with Daniela, I can say look no further than the Warrior Princess. Xena backed up last weeks emphatic win with another here in Shanghai. She produced a power house bike split, however what should have caught the eye was her run split, and one could be forgiven for thinking Xena has come back better than ever. Coach is going to convince Xena that a champion like her belongs at Kona next year. Congratulations on a super performance.

A fantastic breakthrough race for Tiger Nini who not only finished with a PB and 3rd in her category, she also set a new Thai middle distance record time! A wonderful result and reward for her work throughout 2018. Congratulations!
